Why aren't you moving?

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Every person came down here to earth with an assignment attached to them. There are times when the gifts attached to those assignments are lying dormant until people get into the correct position for them to become activated. For some folks, they haven't met the right person to make that baby leap. For some folks, they have not yet moved to the right area for that gift to grow. Then others haven't completed the last level, and is stuck on repeat until they do that one thing necessary to cause that particular gift to be stirred up. But this is not the case with you my friend. You have been told by God, what to do. He gave you instructions! You even dreamt about it, and still haven't moved! Why?

You have been saying that you would like to be used by God, but you haven't totally put your trust in Him to lead you. You keep asking everyone else, "What do you think I should do?" They tell you something that goes completely against what you heard God say. You are now standing still, knowing your instructions were different. Yet, you are still listening to them! Why?

Why do we listen to people who are fallible just like us? Why do we ask people who may not even believe in the gifts that we carry? We sit and honestly wait for them to give us instructions about our lives, when God already told us. Some doors will not open until we have lined up with what He said. Sin will never be a breeding ground for blessings!!! There are also things that we haven't let go of! Why?

We keep running to God and asking Him do some things, and He keeps responding with:

1. Get rid of this

2. Change that

3. Build this

4. Tear down that

5. Stop sending emails to this.

6. Stop mailing letters to that.

but, we continue because:

1. We don't want to hurt

2. We don't want to be alone

3. We don't want to be embarrassed

4. We don't want to struggle

5. We don't want to work hard

6. We don't want to go through the same things some others went through

7. We don't want to have expectations and nothing good comes from it.

But I dare you to try God. As you can already see...nothing that you have done has worked. You'll wear yourself out if you continue this way. Allow God to blow your mind. You won't be sorry!

Lord, help us to stand and trust you. Help us not to listen to other people try to make some major decisions about what you specifically gave us to do. In Jesus name...Amen!
