Plan to win; don’t be afraid to fail

One thing that people do not want to be acquainted with, or known as, is "Failure!"

In order not to become acquainted with this horrible thing, most won't try. Because trying could now result in failure! If I get started, and it doesn't work, then that would make me a failure! Therefore, I will let the possibilities of success walk out the door, simply because of failure! This is how many people think.

"What if I win" Is usually not on a person's mind when they are battling that strong spirit called "Fear!" Fear is one of the champion spirits that satan has released in order to keep people from moving, trying, or even getting started.

A good way to combat fear is to:

  • pray

  • Plan

  • Proceed

Philippians 4:6 says, "Be anxious for nothing, but with prayer, and supplication, with thanks, let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!

Prayer helps to release that anxiety, and the other spirits that fear brings with it. Next, when you plan, it reduces that amount of stress, rather than doing something blindly.

Planning accordingly keeps you on the right track. While you are planning, plan for mistakes, ditches, and potholes in the road, so that you know what you would have to do, just in case. This type of planning causes you to prepare for any unforeseen problems by saving money, and having other well thought out ideas in the event of such situations. Most of all, it keeps you moving forward.

I don't know if I mentioned this, but doing nothing, is also FAILURE! You won't know if you will succeed if you never get started.

Don't allow yourself to be distracted with those thoughts of failure anymore. But get up, and move forward. Your life is not to be lived on the sideline. But you are supposed to be in the game!

Lord, please move this feeling of fear so that I can live my life to the fullest potential. In Jesus name.
